RIO DE JANEIRO Brésil
Welcome to the Cidademaravilhosa
Brazil’s second biggest city, Rio de Janeiro, is famous worldwide for its festival, its beaches like Copacabana and its statue of Christ the Redeemer on top of Corcovado Mountain. It is always well known for its friendly atmosphere and the warmth of the cariocas (Rio’s inhabitants). But the city is also known for its extremes of wealth and poverty, its favelas alongside the affluent neighbourhoods.
